'Take A Day Off!', 2nd May We'll be starting the Beltane bank holiday weekend on Biddulph Moor, then in a nifty 'Weirdigans in two places at once' move we'll be at... Thornborough, 4th May Afternoon tea, coffee & cakes at the Beltane Celebration at Thornborough Henge, North Yorkshire. We'll be inside the amazing ancient circular earthworks. www.sacredbrigantia.com World Ceilidh at Knockengorroch, 22-25 May 24-hour sustenance from Weirdigans in the Acoustic Village with traditional berber tent, replica iron-age longhouse & legendary musicians; for 4 whole days and nights this year... www.knockengorroch.org.uk Belper Music Festival, 26-29 June Small & perfectly formed, a family-friendly festival in Derbyshire. Three days of bands, workshops, entertainers. We'll be bringing a wood-fired pizza oven to this one! www.belpermusicfestival.org.uk Workhouse Festival, 4-7 July Live music, DJs, cabaret, circus and child-friendly stuff on the Welsh borders. Saving a crazy historical building (formerly a Workhouse) is part of the plan. Weirdigans will be hosting the late-night Cozy Zone, though that won't stop us doing early-bird breakfasts too :-) www.workhousefestival.co.uk Glade Festival, 17-20 July The best dance music festival. Chill-out with us between bouts of frenetic dancing at Weirdigans re-fuelling pitstop... www.gladefestival.com Secret Garden Party, 24-27 July A festival with a wonderful website and a fantastic reputation. We're very excited to be invited. The theme this year is 'Come the Revolutions'. Revolting Gardeners will be at large - and having it large - day and night all Party long... www.secretgardenparty.com Northern Green Gathering, 7-10 August NGG celebrates its 10th Birthday! We'll be merging our two tents together again to make a space big enough for hosting acoustic bands, music sessions, filmshows and other eruptions of random entertainment... NGG is on a gorgeous new site in North Yorkshire this year... www.nggonline.org.uk Solfest, 22-24 August Cumbria's largest and most vibrant live music & arts event, with Weirdigans appearing as part of the 24-hour Acoustic Tent just uphill from the Drystone Stage. www.solwayfestival.co.uk Fell Edge, 12-14 Sept A
tiny festival in the Yorkshire countryside. Heaps of kids stuff,
workshops, bands, djs, campfires, a wood-fired sauna, mucho dressing
