Kristen had a summer of stewarding, bar-work and litter-picking lined up for summer 2007. He decided to stalk Weirdigans round the festies... Lucky for us, 'cos there he was waiting in the wings when Big Rob went down with a back injury and we were wallowing in mud at the Workhouse. Kris jumped into Rob's boots and was soon hoisting the tent and digging ditches like a good 'un. He ended up doing practically the whole Weirdigan season. He frequently made us laugh 'til our bellies hurt, surprised us with his disarming honesty, and won the best-dressed Weirdie award at every festie fancy-dress night. He surprised himself by discovering the joys of washing up and keeps coming back for more. He bakes very good cakes, plays the accordion and helps run Smiley D's LED workshops - though rarely all at the same time.
